Today we set out to do the downtown loop. We hopped off at 9/11 Memorial and museum. What a moving place just cannot imagine what it would have been like to be in Manhattan that day. When we were last here the Freedom Towers were a hole in the ground. The Americans have done a great job with the museum and memorial fountains. I guess you call them fountains but really they are more like falls. Really heart wrenching to hear some of the stories and see the foot...

Today we started off by going and collecting our New York passes. We got them and then walked down to Central Park where we hired bikes (free with our NYP) we rode around the park. Trevor broke the record but the rest of us took our time and took some photos. There was so much traffic- bikes and joggers and horse and carriages. We caught the Amtrak this morning from DC to New York. Not too sure what to expect but all went pretty smoothly. We went through Willmington Delaware so that ticked off another state on this trip.
