Hey everyone!

Well yesterday we started off our day by going to the Farmers Market in Hollywood. It was in lots of the guides that we had been looking at so we decided to go and check it out. It was really good! They had lots of lovely stuff on sale. We bought raspberries, strawberries and Daniel bought some fresh orange juice which he says is the best ever!! We then just had a wee wander about. We are going to go back next Sunday to have another wee look! Then we just came back and relaxed in the hotel. Later on we switched the news on and found out with the rest of the world that Osama Bin Laden was dead! We switched it on just a wee while after Obama had made his announcement so none of the news reporters really knew what was going on. We watched loads of scenes of crowds outside The White House and Ground Zero celebrating. It was some sight! The news reporters kept on getting Osama and Obama mixed up which was a little unfortunate!

Then today we took the metro and the bus down to Santa Monica Pier. It took about 1 and a half hours to get there but it was worth it! We had seen in one of the guides that there was a Malibu Homes Tour that we could get for half price so we headed down to have a look. Luckily the tour wasn't full and we got on! The tour was really good and we saw lots of very famous peoples homes and we had a wee walk on Malibu beach which was lovely. The whole area looked really nice and Santa Monica was also really nice! The beaches where huge and the weren't that crowded! After we came back we went on a small rollercoaster by the beach which scared me half to death:P Especially as i could hear the staff talking about how it had stopped working half way through on a trip before ours! Then we had tea on the pier which we ate very fast as we had watched a seagull try to take a woman's burger at the table next to ours!
