Hey everyone!

Well sadly it doesn't look like i can upload photos here:( We tried for ages but it just doesn't work! I will have soooo many to upload when i find a computer that does! So just now my pic for this blog is off STA's site so don't get comfused as we are going to the Grand Canyon tomorrow:)

We'll start with Phoenix first though! I have one word about Phoenix and it is HOT! Which is kinda what you would expect as it is in the desert! Anyway when we were there we went to see two Phoenix Suns games. One against the Timberwolves and one against the Spurs and they won both!! Woo! They were really exciting and we had alot of fun. Our seats were much better than we expected in the first game concidering they were $11. We got a free cup holder which is cool as it was free! Daniel got loads of merchandise in the team store so we had to make a trip to the post office! The game went into overtime which made it really exciting as well!

Our seats for the second game were amazing! They were just a few rows back from the court! We were by the Suns bench also which was really cool! As this was the last game of the season it was fan appreciation night so lots of free stuff was being given away but sadly we did not get any of the big prizes:( We did get Suns cheerleading playing cards wooo! You can guess who will appreciate those more:P The game was really really good as it was a big rivalry game!

In amongst these games we went downtown to explore the area a little more. There wasn't much to do there but it was still nice! It would have been usefull to have a car as you couldn't get the bus to alot of places but we managed! The rest of the time we went to various shopping malls and food shops so we had a pretty relaxed time there:)

Now we will go onto VEGAS BABY!!

Our greyhound journey was full of some more normal people this time which was good and it took us about 8 hours to get here. We nearly didn't get on it though as the departure time had been moved to an hour earlier! It was because of a time change a month ago! We had no idea so it was lucky that we arrived 20 mins before the bus left! You are supposed to be there an hour before but we like to get there early:) which is just as well!

We arrived at night so it was cool seeing Vegas for the first time all lit up! It looks really impressive. The hotel is so nice! Much nicer than we expected. We have a seperate bedroom to the living/dining/kitchen area. It has an oven and everything! So we were pretty pleased especially after the hotel in Phoenix! Which we had to call someone just to get any cooking stuff as we had a cooker but nothing to cook with! Basically it was not a very nice place but never mind!

So on our first day we as usual went in search of food. There is nothing on the strip so we had to get a bus to a Walmart and get all our shopping! But at least we got some as i can tell you the prices on the strip are not that cheap! Then today we went in the pool first of all which is FREEZING! They have jacuzzi's though which are lovely and warm:) We then took a walk along to the MGM Grand which is massive! It has something like 5000 rooms! In it there is a lion habitat which is really cool as you can walk under parts that they are sitting on and watch the trainers playing about with them! We then had a walk through the casino which is huge and Daniel and I each bet $1 on the slot machines! Big Gamblers i know:P There didn't seem to be a whole load of security so we thought we took our chances. There are big signs up that say anyone under 21 isn't allowed loiter but no one dragged us off the machines which was good! But hey at least we can now say we have gambled in Vegas!

Tomorrow we are off to the Grand Canyon so we have a very early start and we will let you know how that is:)
