Hey everyone!

Well the Grand Canyon was amazing! It is huge as you may have guessed! We had a great time:) When we got there our tour guide told us that you could take free shuttles to different points but that the best way to see it was that he would drive us to a point called Mather point and then he said we should walk the rest of the way back which is exactly what we did. It took us about 2 hours to walk around but we got some really great views that you wouldn't have got otherwise! At one point a boy was peering over the edge of the Canyon and he slipped! I'm sure his heart nearly stopped! Luckily he didn't fall though but that didn't stop us peering over the edge too! It's quite scary! We would deffinatly reccommend everyone if the got the chance to go and see the Canyon! The pictures when you finally see them don't do it justice!

The day after that we went up the strip on the monorail to the big hotels. We went into Ceasars Palce, Flamingo and The Mirage. The Mirage was the best as we went to The Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. We had to pay to get in but it was worth it! We got to see lots of dolphins and go to an underwater viewing area and watch them. There were also Siberian tigers, tiger cubs, lions and leopards! This was all in a hotel! The hotels here are really pretty amazing!

The day after we went south of our hotel to Luxor hotel which is a big pyramid with a sphynx (if that's how you spell it!) in front of it, we also went to Mandalay bay, Excalibur and New York New York! The inside didn't remind us of New York but the outside did as it had a Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and Brooklyn Bridge! We then went to the Rainforest Cafe for tea which is in the MGM Grand! It is a cafe with two floors and is rainforest themed with plants, aquariums and fake animals around it! It looks pretty cool. Thunderstorms went off every 30 mins. It was very very busy so it's not just us that thought it was cool:) We decided to treat ourselves and eat there! I got the biggest plate of Nachos i have ever seen in my life! You all know what my appetite is like and i would say this would have fed about 3 people. Daniel got some yummy chicken and i got a free coke! Anything free is always good:)

Then yesterday we went to Circus Circus hotel to the Adventuredome which is an indoor theme park. Lots of rides were broken and the machines stole my money so we weren't very pleased:( We then came back and relaxed in the hotel for a wee while and later when it was dark we went to the top of the strip and walked down it seeing it at it's best! We had sore feet at the end though as it's very long! It really is an impressive city though! We also went into The Venetian hotel which is a hotel in the style of Venice. It is a really nice hotel with gondolas and canals! It would be a really nice place to stay. We also stood outside The Mirage and watched it's fake volcano explode! It had fire and water shooting out of it. It was really cool! It goes off every hour on the hour.

Today we packed our bags as it is our last day:( Then we took the bus to downtown Vegas to Fremont street where there is the Fremont experience which is a street with a canopy over it with LED light shows and of course it is littered with half naked girls and casinos. Here instead of newspapers in the stands on the street that you can pay for in places like New York there is porn! That pretty much sums up Vegas!

Anyway we had better go as someone is waiting and there is only one computer!
