From Vietnam, we crossed into Cambodia. What a welcome change. The people have nothing there, but they could not have been nicer.

We spent some crazy days buzzing around the capital on mopeds - v.dangerous but great fun. We saw the impressive Ankor Wat temples which were quite something, including the one featured in Tomb Raider.

Although we saw some great stuff, we also went to an old torture prison used by the Khamer Rouge and saw the killing fields where millions of people were slaughtered. It's really sad and quite disturbing, especially as remnants of clothing poke up from beneath the ground where the mass graves are.

Following Cambodia, we made our way to Hong Kong for a great few days. The best day was a trip to Disneyland. We bought our Mickey ears and really got into it, audience participation in shows and all (quelle surprise).

During the water parade, we bought guns and found it highly amusing to squirt all the princesses. Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella; they all got it. They (failed drama students), however, were not so amused and were glaring at us. Which only encouraged us further!

So when departing Hong Kong, I also left behing Leah. After almost a year of travelling, we are going our separate ways ; Leah back to Penkridge, and me back to Australia.

I'm off fruit picking in order to get a second year working visa for Oz. Old cliche, I met a guy. And no, he's not a surfer called Brad.

So what have I learned from travelling; well, stereotypes are generally true and that working is an incredibly dull way to lead your life.

It has been the most amazing experience ever. If any of you have the slightest incliniation to do some travelling then do it! My body is a little heavier, and my wallet a lot lighter, but I've had a blast!

To those of you still reading, thank you. This sounds like a good place to say ta ta, however, I know some of you are dying to hear how I get on fruit picking, so I guess I'll update you then. That is, if they have the internet in the arse end of Australia!
