Hello everybody!!
Writing from a little internet cafe in lima (Miraflores) not too far from our hostel!
10 ours in to our 12 hour flight and i look out the window to see the Amazon!! How cool is that. We were prob one out of three Gringos on the areoplane. As we landed everyone went mental clapping and cheering, was well good, made us laugh!
Arrived last night and got a taxi back to the hostel, lucky to be alive after that journey!! Ha drive like nutters!
Hostel so lovely. Run by a Peruvian family, the Mum is so nice and speaks no English but stills chats away to us in Spanish, we pretend we understand, nod and say "si, si" occasionally Jon chucks a "qui" as he seems to think we are in France! ha!
Plan to move on 2mo and hopefully get a bus south towards Nazca. But we will see!!

Kate AMAZING! Definitely hit up the Nazca lines, they are stupidly amazing. Don't get fleeced like I did though and go buying a load of Nazca-shaped trinkets. They are crap, you just don't realise until you're on the bus driving away. Keep blogging, can't wait to hear more of the adventures...! Lots of love xxx

cru n dad hi kate and jon great site - so good to be able to keep in touch this way. Missing you loads but jealous of the heat, its -4 here!!! Been snowed in at home for 3 days now and the snow is up to Poppy's bum.....she isnt keen on having a poo tho cos its so cold ....keeps trying to find a part of the garden where the snow is not so deep - no chance!!!! Your dad was watching a spanish film with english subtitles - big cheat! (about Che Guevara - famous 1960's argentine revolutionary) that had Nazca in it.....how bizarre is that?!
