Hello everybody!! I am writing this blog from a place called Paraty. Which is the town about 40 minutes from Trinidade, where we have been staying for the last 5 days or so! We arrived in Pararty from Sao Paulo and jumped on the local bus and headed for Trinidade, through the forest/jungle, along a very bendy, hilly little road. The bus took us past a few small houses, each with at least one hammock hanging outside. We drove past vultures perched on tree brach...

So off we went on another bus, this time to Iguazu!! We were both really excited about seeing the falls and after a 20 hour journey we were there! We found a place to stay and headed straight to the falls! They were amazing, the pictures dont do them justice really! We explored the whole park and viewed the falls from the different balconies. Along the paths we saw a tucan in the trees, the most beautifully coloured butterflies and Racoons searching and pinchi...

So we headed for Uruguay. Boarded a ferry then a bus for 5 five hours and arrived in La Paloma! A lovely little town with a surfers beach! Perfect. We found a hostel right on the beach front, which was perfect and spent three days just chilling out and drinking maté! The sea was quite warm and the waves were quite strong and good fun!
