Spent 3 days camping in Karijini National park in SWAGS under the stars. Spent the days climbing gorges and swimmiing in gorge pools! Did a total gorges in 3 days and have many bruises and cuts as souveniers!

We had a really early start this morning and headed to Monkey Mia. Here we were able to stand in the water with dolphins whilst they were being fed. The closest I've ever been to a dolphin!They were so friendly and playful!We then went out on a catermeran searching for sea cows. This kind of look like dolphins that have had their noses cut off!ugly! We also stopped of on a pearl making place in the middle of the sea where they showed us how they made pearls from ...

We headed into Kalbarri national Park to Z-bend gorge. We climbed down into the first part of the gorge, and then got the chance to abseil down a section. Was pretty scarey...prob because I spent most of the time hanging in mid air as didn't spring off the edge hard enough!Got the hang of it a bit more the second time! Joined tour today to start heading up the west coast. We were warned from the start that this wasn't a holiday...apparently it's an adventure and we will have to step out of our comfort zone and get lots of bruises! First stop was at the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park. Pinnacles seem to go on for miles! Our tour guide is on a break from the army so is a survival expert and was pointing out all the diffeent animal tracks and bushes we would need for survival!...

Arrived in Perth last night. We were given a tour of the city by the taxi driver - australians are so friendly!!!Satying in a hostel right on the beach - we were walking on the beacch at 6am this morning (bodies still in new zealand time!!)!Definatley a good way to start the day!Have spent today exploring perth and tomorrow we join tour to head up the west coast!
