Spent the last 2 days in L.A. America is a very strange place!You can get arrested for not crossing road at crossing - 'J' Walking' (as someone pointed out to us after we had done it on numerous occasions!Whoops!!)but you cansmoke pot and turn right at a red traffic lights!! Spent a day doing a tour round LA - did walk of fame with all the dtars, saw the Hollywood sign, went to Santa monica and Venice beach, then to Rodeo Drive and then saw lots of the stars houses (or so the tour guide said, to be fair they could have been anyones houses!!). Yesterday we went to universal studios which was fun. LA seems to be all about famous people and big houses!! Weather was brilliant....very very hot!;0)

In true travelling style we decided to take a cheap route to the airport which we were told was very easy......about 3 hours and 2 buses, and 4 trains later we arrived at the airport!Just about checked in on time.....there were no queues and we had to smile very sweetly at Albert the man on check in!Did mean we had no hanging around at the airport though!
