Made it further up the North Island and have been relaxing as much as possible before we have to come home.

On our way up we stopped at Waitomo to see the glowworms and visited some amazing cave networks. it was really beautiful but a wee bit cold. the glow worms are really maggoty things but if you dont think about it too much they are pretty, like little stars.

We drove through Auckland but have not really stopped there yet. We saw a little figure jumping off the sky tower, that will be us soon. We also drove over the bridge and saw all the skyline so we are looking forward to staying there for a few days.

Slowly making our way up to the bay of islands but we have taken a break in Whangarei for some diving. We have done a few dives off Goat Island and Moari rocks and they have been fab. We have swum with more sting and eagle rays, seen lots of crayfish and even more octopus which are supposed to be lucky! We are waiting on a really fine day to go out to the Poor Knights Islands so that should be fun.
