Menorca! Less touristy than the other two islands and really beautiful! We arrived in at about 10am on Tuesday, went for an orientation walk of the town and brunch. We had a quiet afternoon before heading out for dinner at an amazing restaurant in an old windmill. A baked cheese and bread dish, Iberian ham croquettes and asparagus with dipping sauce to start, followed by suckling pig served on potatoes and a traditional pastry for dessert. Delicious! We went onto a garden bar for drinks before heading out of town to an amazing club set into the side of a cliff in a cave. It was so high up, and so beautiful but so so hot! We enjoyed our last night all drinking together and got the bus home at 5am. After a late start on Wednesday we made our way to the beach after lunch. We had dinner at the same restaurant before going to a terrace bar on the port in my blog photo. Our tour finished the next day after breakfast and we all went our separate ways. We made our way to the airport for our flight to find a few of our tour friends still there when their flight was meant to be a few hours prior. Turns out their plane had begun take off, then suddenly braked, then tried again and stopped again before fire trucks rushed out. There was an issue with the generator and all of the tires popped when braking, lucky we weren't on that plane! We boarded and left Menorca before they even had a flight organised!
Next stop, Barcelona!
