Sligo! Pronounced Sly-go, we kept getting it wrong. On our way we went through the quaint town of Donegal and stopped for a quick look at the Donegal castle. Most days we've been having lunch on our way in the car, just rolls and cheap stuff- typical backpackers! We visited Rosses Point- on the bay, a really pretty spot before heading into the town of Sligo. We wandered the streets, explored and then went for dinner at the Belfry. We then went onto another bar where we met some locals and ended up in a dance off involving two colleges. It was so funny, and a lot of fun!
Friday we woke fairly early, had a scone and hot chocolate for breakfast before leaving Sligo.
Next stop, Galway!
