Singapore -

OK so Ness played being ill and Becky and I went to Clarke Quay, we went to one of the bars and then tried to go to Ministry of Sound, but we got ID'ed and not expecting it didn't have our passports on us, so we sulked and went back to the hostel.

Woke up the next morning to Dan packing his stuff and leaving for his trip around Malaysia and then got up later on and went to the RedDot Traffic Design Museum, this was fantabulous and we also had chocolate cake at the cafe outside.

We then went to buy a travel book for Malaysia and found out that we had to be at the train station at 5.30 am the next morning to go to Malaysia. After all the important stuff was worked out we went to the cinema, you may think this isn't very cultural but going to the cinema is the most popular leisure activity in Singapore and the locals go u to 3 times a week!!! it was mental, it was sooo packed, and we decided to go and see teenage mutant ninja turtles, it wasn't so 80s as the cartoons and April didn't wear a yellow jump suit so we were a little disappointed but it was still v kewl.

After the cultural-ness of the cinema we headed over to Raffles, we had Singapore Slings and had a look in the fancy shops, including Tiffany's and all this was hungry work so then we headed off for sushi, we queued for ages because we wanted to get seats where we would be able to get our food off the conveyor belt, it was really fun cos we had no idea what we were eating and it was sooo cheap, well actually i dont think anything at all has been expensive so far!

We had to get up at 4.30 to get to the train station so that we could travel to Klaung and then to Mersing to get a ferry to Pulau Tioman, it was a lot of travelling but definitely worth it because it is beautiful here, only problem is we have no accommodation so we are sleeping on the beach, its going to be fun, i just hope we dont get bitten alive by too many mosquito's!
