Well, it looks as if your messages have all dried up now that you're home - I was just checking to see if you had posted the LV and NY pictures yet. (I never did get to see the midget, dressed as a leprechaun, standing on the bar, playing a tin whistle and pouring shots into peoples mouths!)

Anyway, glad to hear you are back in the mode and life is returning to normal. Hope you're not too bored! Anyway, once again it was great to see you and you know that if life gets too tedious you can always come back to reprise Sin City. 'ugs & kisses.

Well......we're finally home!! Thank you so much to everyone we met along the way and extra special thank-you's to The Swallow's & Chris & Graham for looking after us sooooo well in the USA - it wouldn't have been the same without you!! It's very strange being back home - but lovely. We had a great surprise re-union with Mum & Dad yesterday - they were gobsmacked to see us - they were worried we were on some random Greyhound bus on the way to Texas!!
Anyway, i'll be back in the real world soon, so will be in touch with everybody eventually! Missing travelling already!! (But it was so nice to find all of my clothes, make up, cowboy boots and stuff i've been without!!! (Ha ha i'm sooo materialistic!!!)

well we have seen a lot of bizzare and wonderful things here in vegas, nuns gambling midgets dressed as lepracauns (yes blowing whistles and dancing the best thing i have seen ever !!) drank copius ammounts of alcohol sun bathed vigourously and eaten anything that stays still long enough to be ate !
We camped in the grand canyon and cooked chilli on a campfire, we have seen wild donkeys with there willys out and trained donkeys with there willys away (i prefere the latter), but now its time to move again texas is the next stop and we have a very long coach journey tomorrow the greyhound bus here is nothing like oz itsreally smeggie and public and i imagine we will get a wino or 2 next to us as is usually our luck !!so the next entry from us will be in cowboy style dont worry i wont be getting any daisy dukes i may get shot !! love u all xxxxyee haa xxxx

Hello my lovelies! Glad your having such a fab time in the US! Am soooooo jealous that you will be staying in New York for a bit-it is such an amazing place and you will have the best time. Cant believe youre back in around a months time! It seems like ages since Ive seen you - and thats with my trip over in January so for everyone else it must seem like forever! Bet your Ma and Pa cant wait and are counting down the days........( only a few more weeks now Mary/Mark!!). I know Johnny is really excited Kim - I strangely keep bumping into him out in town!!! I think he is making the most of his temporary semi-batchelor status and getting in lots of nights out whilst youre away as the minute you guys get back Im sure him and Kim will have rather a lot of catching up to do ;-) Very raining and dull here today after a couple of surprisingly sunny days at the end of last week. We have Debbie's hen do this Saturday, which should be fun! Anyway just wanted to say a quick hello and send my love. well what can i say Vegas Rocks !! the weather is awesome the beer is iced and the tan is coming along nicely thank you,
Imust say tho that the people in the airport are not as friendly as i would hope , on the way over i got stopped and pulled into a screen room were a big fat woman who looked like she batted for the opposite team proceeded to put on plastic gloves and give me orders to sit down stand up face this way .... !!! karla was nowhere to be seen i was so scared i could harldy follow the womans proceedures i was sure that was it for me ... thankfully i was just frisked and let go !!!!
Graham took us into the mountains yesterday which was cool i was constantly on the lookout for bears and wild donkeys but the donkeys must have been out gambling cuz i didnt have the pleasure :( -
We have been to the strip and it is crazy we were stuck on a bus with a hundred disabled people for about 2 hours tho which wasnt that fun (i love disabled people for those reading this who are disabled) - Honestly its so different from the Tv its hard not to walk into things as u are continuously staring up and around !!
There are many fat fat sweaty people here and i am rapidly becoming one of them !We gambled a dollar in the Mandalay Bay hotel and lost (i pressed the wrong button Karla not happy) it very smokie here which is strange after the clean Calafornian air (we miss u Swallows)xx
Saw a man dressed as elvis am yet to find a midget one tho the hunt is on !We are off out on the strip again tomorrow night so that should be interesting!
We are missing everyone really bad and lying by the pool tanning and drinking beer only numbs the pain a small amount ..... hee hee honestly we are looking forward to coming home and showing off our tans !!

Hola! We are now back in the scorching heat in Vegas (but really missing the Swallows in L.A)!! Chris & Graham have got a gorgeous house with a lovely garden so we can get our suntans back! We haven't "hit the strip" yet - just been lounging around today. We're going to Lake Mead tomorrow on their speedboat, and it's Grahams birthday on Sunday so lots of celebrating to be done! We had our first gamble yesterday in the local bar - little machines are built into the bars everywhere!! There are slot machines everywhere...even in gas stations - it's mental!! Tomorrow night we're going into the main strip for a few bevvies...and maybe win a few bucks! It seems strange that we're in our last country before home, but we've still got about 6 weeks before home hits! We're probably getting the greyhound from Vegas up to New York where we fly from, and stop off at various places along the way. Anyway - off to the pub soon, so see ya!! Karla xxx
