Keep the good times rolling over there in the golden state!
We have Diane with us at the moment, enjoying the sunny blue desert skies. We had a mammoth shopping spree yesterday, we're all off to see Stanley Clarke tonight, then it's the LV highland games is this weekend (so there are lots of big, hairy men running around!)
Looking forward to seeing soon - luv C&G xxx

Hi everyone! We are now safe and settled in L.A. Roger, Robin, Jake & Luc are looking after us so well.....we're off to the mountains tomorrow for a couple of days to go snowboarding!!!!! We'll let you know if there are any broken bones!!! Well, Fiji was lovely, but not as much of a paradise as other places we've seen along the way - like the whitsundays in Oz or Thailand.....but hey - it was still gorgeous, what am I complaining about!!!!! It's a bit chilly here and today I bought 2 pairs of shoes........I know what you're all thinking, but I've only got filp flops with me and they're no good to go to the mountains in are they???!!!!!!
I hope you're all well and it doesn't seem long at all until we're back - although Mum & Dad want us back NOW!!! Don't worry guys - it'll go quick. Miss you all and speak soon. Karla xxx

Hiya both, sounds like Fiji was a bit of an adventure to say the least!! Glad you are continuing on your mission to make 'circle of death' global!!! We so have to have an night of it when you girlies get back......but without the pants this time... (that sounds dodgy, but you know what I mean!!). Things here are cool. Going to Tash's 'hat' birthday party on Saturday night which should be fun! Will be missing not having you there though hun :-( Did I email you about all the wedding invites you have to come back to-I think I did? Debbies reception in July and Si's do in August? Hope you can come! I have also just booked a week away with Polly and her friends to St Tropez at the end of July which I am really excited about. Gonna be pricey though, so need to start saving......!!! Im up to Derby in a few weeks to visit Becca and Hazel so will say hello to the place for you. Take Care and mail soon. Lots of love xxxxx

Hi guys ! we finally made it home to the main land after 8 days on the island of mana - we were only ment to stay for 5 but we kept extending, they had no phones or internet completly cut off ! , we have had such an awesome time there and met some really cool people- we went to a cava ceremony which was interesting the cava tastes like muddy water and it makes your mouth go numb, we stayed in a really scanky backpacker hut thing with cockroaches curtains for doors no water or electricity some days and it was fantastic , home cooked meals everday 3 times a day we have had beer and carb overload ! - beaches were nice (somedays) - snorkling was fantastic and some ofe guys we were with saw sharks on there dives some of which were several meters long but they arnt man eating so i wasnt scared - we brought circle of death to the island and had a hat making party for st paddys day (my hat was voted favourite) everbody was wasted in hats made out of leaves it was a lot of fun ! we prepared the food one night and cooked it in the lova(hole in the ground with coles on) - Karla saw a crab and a starfish have a fight and the starfish lost the crab bit its leg off - i did see 2 starfish mating though which was different ! - everyone was so cool the owner of the hostel told us to come back tomorrow and we can stay for free , free food everything but i think we will try somewhere else !karla got groped by the chief (i think he wanted to eat her) - we had bonfires drank lots sang songs did the macarena fiji style sooo good ! Really missing home we keep meeting people that are going home and telling us what there first meal will be and how looking forward to sleeping in there own bed they are - We are looking forward to getting to USA seeing familiar faces and hopefully topping up the tan ,we are dirty brown and so hot we didnt see much rain on the island but we hear there may b some today - we are now travelin with some people we met on the island so thats cool but we are in a dorm which aparently has a fat 55 year old man who sleeps naked and smells of socks !! eeew !have just eaten the biggest pizza i have ever seen (well brought most of it in a doggy bag) - we love u all so much and miss u millions and I have sand in my pants xxxxxx love u xxxx

Our mama cat had 5 kittens. They are very cute...although they are looking a bit rat like. By the time you get here they should be looking even better. I stayed up the whole night and watched them all being born. Such a miracle.
The weather is warming up a bit in the day but still cold at night. We just got back from the mountains last night. It was snowing like crazy up there. I just couldn't believe we were just a couple of hours away from home. It was a winter wonderland. We are getting excited....just a couple of more days. Kim...a package arrived from your folks.
See you soonxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxR
