Happiness Is The Road
We were on the move again today. On the way out of the National Park we went to have a look at some of the other bays and beaches. We first of all stopped at Squeaky Beach. The beach is very beautiful with gorgeous white sand. We had read that the sand on this beach does really squeak under foot and it actually does. We were a bit disappointed to begin with as the first bit of sand did nothing. We then walked further onto the beach and it did actually start making a squeaking noise and it was pretty loud. It was really good fun to walk here, a bit like walking on hundreds of Gordon The Gophers! The beach has rounded quartz sand which creates the squeaking noise. We stayed here for ages. When we'd had enough we squeaked our way off and drove a bit further down the Prom to Picnic Bay. This is another gorgeous beach but there was no squeaking here. It was perfect weather for a beach day today, hot and a clear sky. We were lucky as the last couple of days had been a bit cloudy. When we were all beached out we headed back to the camper and went to find somewhere to stop the night. We chose a town called Foster. This was a lovely quaint place. We found the caravan park here and chilled for the rest of the day. This was a lovely quiet park and we loved it here.
