First blog for a long time, this is really just a test blog. As the photo suggests along with my wife I am wandering around the shopping centre of Melbourne, relaxing and gathering equipment for camping and motorcycling in Tasmania over the Christmas break. We thought we had missed out on Tassie as the ferry was fully booked but I made a phone call and the kind young man managed to squeeze one extra motorcycle onto the ferry this weekend. It will be Sandi's first visit to the Apple Isle and my second - my initial trip there was in 1985. There has been a lot of water through Bass Straight since then!
