In a hurry again! I have 7 minutes, so...

The weather is hot, the sun is out and I'm off to do a ride through the lakes distric before heading into Scotland finally. Yesterday got very hot on the bike, before getting soaked to the skin in a rainstorm. Was heading up the M6 motorway when the overhead sign said 'flooding' which filled me with confidence! The Ducati turned into a duck and we sailed through it all unscathed and kept riding until I dried out.

Yesterday was a day of contrasts in many ways, went from hairy to neat, windy roads in Snowdonia Wales to the motorway, hot to wet to warm & dry, Wales to England. Strange how you can hardly tell you've crossed what the Welsh claim is the border of two countries - I never saw a sign.
