Sorry for the lack of blogging over the past few days, it's good to know that people are reading this though! :)

Our last day in Hamburg was spent walking about, but as it was a Sunday all the shops were closed- even the escalators stopped working! We spent a few hours walking through a fairly nice park. One thing is for sure, we are going to be bloody fit when we come back, the amount of walking we're doing with these huge backpacks on! On Sunday afternoon we got the train into Berlin and stayed in a really cool hostel, definitely the best one so far.

On Monday we did a free walking tour of the city and saw all the main attractions. These were basically memorials, the brandenburg gate, the wall, the reichstag and some more memorials. We tried the Berlin night life, and it wasn't quite what we expected. There didn't seem to be any real pubs, just cafes selling beer. Anyway we met some americans and got free drinks, so all in all, a good night. I also bought a new hoody, so it no longer looks like I haven't changed my clothes in all of the pictures!

And this brings up to today. This morning was spent with some more walking around Berlin with our backpacks and a slight hangover. In the afternoon we caught the train to Prague and immediately got ripped off at the train station when changing our money, which means we've got to be even tighter than usual for the next couple of days! Tonight's hostel is okay, not as good as the one in Berlin, and everything seems more expensive in this czech money.

We'll probably get an early night and see how much stuff we can do for free tomorrow :)
