Morg!

First impressions of Hamburg were not good to say the least. It was 5am, freezing cold and we had nowhere to sleep. After a nap, and another crisp sandwich, we went out exploring.

Hamburg is actually a really nice city. Today we went to the city hall, making sure we do the typical tourist things. There are loads of lakes and rivers and general water. It also has a harbour and a big fish market- not that we'll be visiting that! We didn't see much of the city today (didn't recover from our "night" train ordeal until 2pm) but we'll be doing more tomorrow before heading over to Berlin in the afternoon.
