Today I had the day off so I decided to relax a bit, do some planning and have a look around the local area. In the afternoon I took Dylan's scooter and headed out of town to do some exploring - I adventured up this track which lead deep into the mountains unfortunately a very aggressive dog came out of the bush barking and proceeded to chase me, I whipped bike around and got the hell out of there. When Dylan arrived we went for a walk to a famous tourist destination - an old Japanese village (from their invasion during ww2) a beautifully preserved village with 100s of incredible wood carvings from the local people on display. All the trees and plants were also Japanese which made for a very calming and tranquil place. In the evening I was treated to more amazing Taiwanese food which included spicy pork mince with garden salad, mushroom stirfry and fried Atlantic salmon. How I ever leave Taiwan I don't know.
