After not much sleep again I was up at 4am doing my exercises and making myself an early breakfast before having to leave Charlottes by 6am. After saying goodbye to Charlotte I headed to the plaza where I could catch a bus to the bus terminal, unfortunately the bus never came so I had to suck it up and pay for a taxi. I arrived at the bus terminal with plenty of time and was able to get a ticket on the 7:30am bus quite cheap. 7:30am came and still no bus; the ticketing lady eventually came down to the terminal and gave me another ticket for another bus and I was told to go wait at the other end of the terminal - great. After another long and painful wait the bus eventually came and everyone boarded. The trip to Tupiza was long and windey but the scenery was incredible, even though we stopped for an early 45 minute lunch break we still arrived in Tupiza by just after 1pm. I headed straight into the city stopping at various hostels and tour agencies getting some prices for accommodation and tours. Just off the main strip I found a really nice residencia where I was able to get a nice cheap room with basic services, the woman running the place was so nice and even let me use their kitchen. I went for a walk around the city and happened to run into Peter one of my mates I would be doing salt flat tour with. We walked around to a few agencies getting tour prices whilst waiting for Dez and Sven to return from their horse riding trip. We ended up stumbling across one agency who already had one person ready for tomorrow's 4 day tour and he was able to give us a really good price which was too good to pass up. When the others arrived back from the horse riding we all decided we were happy with the tour and the price and that we would go book. It is a shame I don't get to explore Tupiza more as we take off at 8 in the morning but the good thing is we get to do the tour we want at a good price. On the way back to my accommodation I stopped at the market and picked up half a chicken to cook - just incase the food for the next few days is a little rough.
