Day 13 Saturday 24/08 Verona > Lazise (Lake Garda) 31 deg Sunny -

After trying to find a place for breakfast that did eggs, we had to settle once more for croissants. We strolled the streets, shopped, went to the market where we bought fruit, I bought a sun shade and then it was time for a gelato, mine was liquorice…which was delicious given the heat. Verona is a lovely old town with the Arena as the centrepiece. It was a short drive to our accommodation at Lake Garda, which took some time to find and did not deliver to the expectation we all had....oh well we had a laugh!! We then went and had a look at Lake Garda, with its pebbly beach and many sun chairs. There are many tourist parks and lots of holiday makers mainly from Germany.
