We got the bus to bangkok today. The first bus (to the border) didn't have anywhere for suitcases/backpacks, so they were pilled up in the middle of the bus, which made getting on and off the bus for breaks quite fun as we had to climb over the seats!
After going through thai immigration and after lots of arguing with various men (who told us we had missed the bus and that it was our fault!!!) we finally got on a bus to bangkok. There weren't enough seats for everyone so about 8 poor people had to sit on the floor in the middle of the bus.... for 4hrs! We arrived at Kho san road at about 7pm.
