I arrived at the airport to see Sam and Toni (his mum). They drove me to their beautiful house which is about 20 minutes away from the airport but as it was late in the evening, everyone except Phil (his dad) was asleep. They have 5 children; Sam, the oldest who is the same age as me, James, another Josh, Daniel and their adopted daughter from Ethiopia, Doratu. Their house is outside of Perth but they have a unit (like a flat) in the city that they use to go to school and university.
I wasn't very tired, even though I had only had 4 hours sleep in the last 2 days, so I went to sleep a bit after everyone and then woke up at 1 pm the next day. Sam came back from his part time job at woolworths and was supprised to see me still asleep so he woke me up and we went off into Perth to meet up with the other boyswho had just been to a family wedding. We played football in the park there after having a wander around and have a look at the city from an amazing viewpoint. It was great to do some excercise after spending so long not doing much at all!
We then went for my first ever subway which was amazing! I can't believe that I had never been before! Afterwards we headed off home for a BBQ and a catch up. Sam and I then went on to facebook to remeniss about everyone from nepal and see what they all looked like now.
The following day Sam had university and everyone else was busy so I went into Perth with Sam on the train and I had a wander around and went down to Freemantle, a pretty little town, 10 minutes away by train. There isn't much to do in town but it wa nice to wander around and walk along the massive swan river in Perth. I met up with sam back in the main train station to go back to their stop. We met up with his mum there to help her with the shopping for our 5 days in Rottnest.
