Whale shark tour fail........ $60 bucks, no whale sharks...... :( Enough said!!!

Lazy day, no whale shark tour... It was so dang hot today we just lazed around and didn't do much, we tried to going on a whale shark tour but it wasn't enough people so the tour was canceled.....

Kayaking the canal The island is actually split in half by a Manngrove canal running north to south, we had read that you could kayak down it in the lonely planet so that was the plan! Getting kayaks to do this was easier said than done, but in the end we found them and we got a nice double kayak. Well luckily for us we ended up doing it on a semi-cloudy day and it was still extremely hot in the mangroves, no wind in there, just hotness..... It was a really nic...

Two more fun dives Then went to dive a shipwreck so I got paired up with some older dude who'd just learned to dive. We do our buddy check which is all good and we start the descending, we get down to like 14 m and the guy grabs me and does the sign that he's out of air!!! grabs my emergency regulator and we make an accent to the surface!!! The dummy forgot to turn his tank all the way on...... Let it goes on about somebody trying to kill him..... Hahahaha.... S...

Refresher dive! Seeing how Utila was one of the most cheapest places to dive in the whole world I figured I would give it another go hoping my ear wouldn't be an issue. I opted for a refresher dive seeing how I hadn't dove in over three years, it was a little extra money but well worth it. The refresher dive and my fun dive right after it went off without any issues and it was good fun!
