Hello Everyone! It's been a while since my last postcard as I've been very busy. Since leaving Auckland I've travelled the North Island where I swam with dolphins in the bay of islands, sea kayaked of the coast and went caving in a place called Waitomo. A couple of weeks ago we went hiking across the Tongiriro crossing where Mount Doom was filmed for the Lord of the Rings and soon after I spent a couple of days in Wellington - which can be seen in the photo attached (not mine). Its a beatufil little city with great nightlife and wonderful walks in the hills and around the bay. I soon crossed to the South island by ferry and continued my trip with a hop-on-hop-off bus company called Stray - where I have met many great people all travelling at slightly different paces. Last week i hiked overnmight in the Abel Tasman national park full of beatiful abandoned beaches and afetr climbing the Franz Josef galcier I am currently in the adventure sports capital of Queensland surrounded by amazing mountains.
