Well I'm in Califonia now and guess what - it's raining. Really hard. Well it can't rain forever. So when it stops I'll go and explore the city of Los Angeles. Right now Im in Santa monica and spent last night in Venice, a bohemian little place filled with cafes, tattoo parlours and murals, and the odd homeless person or three. I have now been in Miami for 6 days and it has all gone very quickly. The city is like no other. I am staying in a region called South Beach which is on a long island connected to the mainland by several long causeways. The heart of South Beach is Ocean Drive, a long slow strecth of beachfront road with a beautiful beach on one side and art deco, neon lit restaurants and bars on the other.
