Well i'm back in Coolangatta as I have been checking the swells and there is supposed to be an epic swell about to hit! I flew down from Cairns to Brisbane where I stayed the night before heading down to Coolangatta by Greyhound!

When I arrived I was greeted by 6ft sapphire blue swell hitting Greenmount. I checked into my hostel, the Sands, and was immeadiatly invited out for a surf by the manager, a guy called Richie! He was a funny lad and an awesome surfer! Spent the entire day surfing epic waves with hardly anyone out! The kids had gone back to school so it was basically me, other travellers, pros and surfer bums! I had the joy of surfing with Mick Fanning, Occy and Taj.

That night went out with a couple of guys from the hostel and bumped into a girl who I had met a couple of weeks earlier from the Isle of Man. Small world!

Spent the rest of the time surfing and chilling out, and getting to know some really cool people! The hostel was super cool with all of the people there for surfing or just to chill out!

The bar downstairs was hosting the Ralph Bikini competition which a load of us went to go and watch! The models were staying in the hostel as well which was cool and we got to see them before anyone else did! Result!

I met Sandra and Eric for lunch at the Coolangatta Surf Club, it was awesome to see them again!

Anyway its come to the time when I have to leave Australia and I am really gutted but glad that I have had so many cool experiences, met some cool people and some that will live with me for a very VERY long time! Really going to miss Coolangatta but I'm sure I will be back!
