Despite the extra leg room on the flight down to Melbourne the ungodly hour (and the fact the seats did nooo recline) meant that we didn't exactly sleep well, but we were able to score a free transfer to the hostel after waiting around for another hour until 630am, at which point we simply zonked out on the sofa for a few hours of much needed kip! We were convinced something was going to go wrong with our Tiger flight to Melbourne as everyone in front of us seemed to be getting stung for excess baggage etc, but to our amazement, check in (when it finally arrived) was a breeze!
