Whilst having both been on some shorter adventures in the past, this time we have decided to embark on the daddy of all trips and to set off around the world - and yes, there is of course a spreadsheet to back it up!
I am starting out this voyage in South America where I will spend a couple of months before Katie comes out to join me after having passed her exams (fingers crossed)...so you will probably see a noticeable improvement in the standard of blogs from September onwards!
What makes this trip even better is that we are travelling with friends along the way, seeing in New Year in Sydney and spending birthdays in Fiji and Asia!
So come with us and follow our every step across 3 continents and 17 countries all the way into 2011.........!!!

Hello, blog back number 3!!!!!! But unfortunately I have no exciting updates for you this week. The highlight of my week has been reading your NZ blogs back to back this morning whilst trying to ignore ben shouting at me to get up and make lasagne for his mums 60th birthday party....boooo to cooking, and what an exciting life I lead! I have waved my other friend Katy off travelling this week after an epic drunken send off last weekend so have now got a serious case of the itchy travel feet.....damn work and financial security!!!!!
It is mad reading your blogs as we did so many of the same things...we also stayed at the "best hostel in NZ" lol! Seriously though I have to say NZ does have the best hostels so enjoy whilst you're there.
One slightly exciting piece of news is that Chester has decided to erect a mini london eye plus ice rink and christmas village on the castle square .... looking forward to speeding round the ice rink whilst chugging on mulled wine! lol! (more like falling over).

1. BREAKING NEWS!!! Moving in with the boy in the new year .. eeeeek! so looking for properties to rent:) ... this clearly means one thing and one thing only - ANOTHER place to have lots of parties!!! ( Def no ding dong bells are going to chime!)
2. Still working as Sales Executive at Carden - LOVE it and I have a new Director of Sales whos great. Find out next week if its to become permanent! So fingers and toes crossed pretty please!!!
3. Leart how to 'bump' start a car last night... in a full ball gown (was hosting a charity dinner), my friends car broke down and its was Frrrrrrreeeeeeezzzing cold and we were pushing the car!!!heheh... see all the fun your missing back home!! hhhhmmmm NOT!!
4. You have a famous friend.... Miss Lisa Jenkins - as she graced the Chester Chronicle with her gleaming smile when she WON, Yes WON! a Bridal competition at the Chester Racecourse!
5. Also .. BREAKING news... Missing you so very much Miss Hutchy ( and you of course Jonny!!) ... Can't wait for the next update, always brings a smile to my face, to hear about all the adventures!!!!

Hey!!!!! Blog back number 2...lol! I am enjoying reading baout your adventures, although does make me jealous....I was laughing out loud about your Salvador salsa lol!
Well my week commenced with a 45 minute visit to the side of the M56 when my tyre blew up after driving over some debris...I have discovered that it is not fun to sit on the side of the motorway in the freezing cold with lorries flying past you! Hmmm really need to learn how to change tyres. My fortunes seem to have changed today however, after going to a wedding fair on sunday, I found out that I won the competition prize so now have lots of free stuff for the wedding (which is notably no further on in terms of organisation!).....so I am hoping that the rest of the week will be less eventful because I already feel like it should be Friday.
Missing you sweetie lots and lots...you may notice that I have invited you to some engagement drinks...I'm not expecting you to fly home, just didn't want to leave you out :( I'll have a Jaeger for u and Jonny (know how much he loves them) Lots of love to you both, take care and keep having lots of fun and keeping us updated xxxxx

You sound like your having a fab time & a good group of you all together sounds great!
Things seem to be ticking along with the house. Just slooooow! Hopefully in late Nov - i've already been thinking where we'd put the xmas tree. lol.
Shops have started to put out Christmas stuff here now..bet you couldn't feel further away from a cold christmas. Your's will be amazing!!
