Another sunny day greeted us this morning as we woke to the pigeons making a racket in the trees above the van. As we walked up the hill from the camp site in Hebden Bridge we noticed nearly all the houses had little yellow bicycles either in their front window or on the lawn. We stopped a passerby and learnt that the Tour de France is coming to Yorkshire in July and part of the route is up this road which is called Cragg Vale and is the longest continuous gradient in the United Kingdom.
