Today was our last day in Prague and we have all gone our separate ways now. The Wilson are staying in in Czech, the Carnie's back to the UK for a week and we head back to London then on to Christchurch on Tuesday. Wow what a fantastic city! We had a great day today as we walked around. Before we headed towards St Wenceslas square - which isn't a square as it is a wide road with a statue of him on his horse at the end in front of the National Museum - we paused for a coffee and a Czech specialty trdelnik which is a long strip of dough wound around a metal cylinder and cooked over hot coals until crisp and then dipped into a cinnamon and sugar. We arrived in Prague on a mild evening and were whisked off to our apartment by taxi. It stopped outside this rather dismal looking building which was being renovated with bars across a locked doorway.
