I found Jess yesterday and we were going to grab some food when she had an invite from some guys to join them so we went along. There was a group of six of us, me, Jess, Greg an Austrian and three Americans teaching in Korea, Sudestra, Harvey and Steve. We went for Western food which was good then Jess had to go and meet her friends. I went with the other guys to find some bars. I had a really good night and they were very friendly and Greg studies physics! So we nerded out.

After we'd had enough of bars we taxid back to the hotel and had a few drinks in the hotel. We played cards then when Harvey and Sudestra went to bed we moved downstairs and chatted pretty late.

This morning I woke up late and rushed to be able to get breakfast. I ate and chatted to Steve before going back upstairs to meet Jess and book our trip to Xi'an. It was then I realised I didn't have my wallet :( I had a good look around and came to the conclusion I had lost it somewhere between getting in the taxi and being in the hotel. I decided the best thing I could do was to wait and see if it was with Harvey and Sudestra in their room. Jess was really nice and has offered to lend me some money if I start to struggle. We'll see :(

We went for a walk for some food and even though it was colder it wasn't so bad because there was less wind. We went for food in a Muslim restaurant near the hostel which was really good and then we went for a wander around the Hutongs.

When we got cold and had explored enough we went back to the Hotel for coffee and a bit of internetting.
