Nice early rise to find the park had no running water. Some tensions built whilst the dunnies were out of service. Eventually fixed we had our showers and then headed to the Gorge river tour. It was stinking hot riding out to the gorge but we changed to shorts and thongs once there. We completed an awesome tour through the rock formation before returning for a quick lunch. A nice easy trip to Katherine from the Daly Waters pub. Sat on 115 most of the way. Did see two gong bangers riding skateboards on the Stuart Hwy. the guy in front had a trailer attached to his board and a safety flag. With a speed limit of 130 and trucks with 4 trailers belting along you will see these tools getting squashed somewhere sooner or later. Katherine is our first 2 day stop to rest off the bikes a bit.
