We have a well earned sleep in , have breakfast , and our plan is to drive to the towns either side of Sami. The first town is Effimia ,a sheltered bay harbour about 10ks north . This a pretty little town, it is similar Gaios on Paxos. There are more Restaurants and trinket shops than people but some of the Restaurants look very good ,may go there for dinner. We did some shopping ,came away with some nice things.
Back to the hotel to pick up our swimmers to a very special place called Anti Sami beach. This a really good place to relax, drink wine swim and of course keep up the tradition. The water has all the blue colours you expect from a beach on any Greek Island. To add to this the water is refreshing and behind on our lucky stone beach is a top flight cocktail bar. We brought some beach shoes in Corfu ,what a great idea they are.
We stay for few hrs and enjoyed a lunch time snack and of course now the cocktail and some wine which wasn’t too bad. We left with the sun set and head back to hotel to prepare for dinner, we think we are going to that same little seafood restaurant.
