Hi all , we have planned a quite day with a visit to the Hill Castle .This Castle has been around since approximately 1161,Ljubljana Castle has been used for many different reason ,hospital ,prison during wars cultural events just to name a few.

A small walk to the castle ,then ride the funicular to the top of the hill and we are there. We are to met the tour guide at a set location at 11.00. We stroll around the grounds till it is time and 21 others join us. This was one of the best tours that Shirley and I have been on .It starts with the guide telling us the history then we go around to different parts of the castle the at each actors would relate stories of what could have happen at the thought out the years . All in there were 10 different stories told and all were entertaining and interesting.The tour ended at around 12 so a perfect time for lunch

We found a lovely restaurant and they had a two dishes for 25 euro Shirley a pork cutlet and myself had a Bailey risotto a couple of freshly baked bread rolls and at last a real good glass of Chardonnay, this has been one of those day were the story could be embellished over and over again.Again a good fitness day ,over 8,600 steps. Home time and it's time for a poppy sleep ,just an hour but the time is 6.00 so we decide we will have dinner and then wander the streets looking in shops, having a gelato treat and having a wine what a life we lead even if, a short term one. We are moving places tomorrow ,we go to the hotel , it's been good in our B&B, I recommend it.
