Good night sleep ,we are fresh and ready to explore Bordeaux . A short walk to the city centre trying to find a travel info place ,there is not one so I walked into a shop told them I was lost ,needed help to find one ,out came her phone showed me and like a blood hound I'm off with Shirley in tow and low and behold there it is just anther five minutes of walking

From here Shirley take over the tour guide side of thing and within minutes her and the tourist info girl have today and tomorrow work out.Today it was an amazing museum called La Cite du Vin. It had everything you need to know about wine and I mean everything . It had the history of wine ,how it changed the world,how to serve it,different type and how they get each style and of course at the end we were given our choose of a half glass of wine, all high profile wine, it was a great experience.

The project for a cultural and tourist wine center began in 2009. An association to prefigure La Cité du Vin was created for this purpose, made up of the Aquitaine region , Bordeaux Métropole , the city of Bordeaux , the Interprofessional Council of Bordeaux Wine and the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry . It assesses the feasibility of the project.

Its aim is to ensure, through the construction of a monument, an intermediary between the world of the museum and that of the theme park, "the transmission, promotion and safeguarding of the cultural, universal and living heritage of wine.

So after busy day we have dinner a lovely little kerb side restaurant very cute but unfortunately the food didnt march it's beautiful appearance.

so now we are going watch the iPad netflick show then off to bed . Love you all
