Our new ship, Queen Elizabeth was ready to take us on to the warmer south. It was freezing cold in New York having suffered from a heavy snowfall the day before we arrived, but the sunshine was bright but the wind was cold. At 4.30 am Thursday morning USA time, we sailed past the Statue of Liberty, we got up to see it but then sneaked back to bed for our last sleep on Queen Victoria. We are now docked alongside the Queen Elizabeth, our next ship to transfer to, right next to the Intrepid Air and Sea Museum on the Hudson River in Central Manhattan.
