Hello...

Well we made it home to sunny Canberra today after three days in Hong Kong, (and new Bling .....), Hong Kong was amazing so busy ....crazy.. .....copy watch, copy handbag, Rolex, suit.... ahhhh NO! .....lol.

We found an amazing shop, not sure where, 10th floor of some high rise??? and bought up big, really funky stuff, all in all had a ball...OMG the high tea..

We missed an interconnecting flight so were later home than we hoped but the welcome was amazing.

So today has been a blur, but we are glad to be home and are looking forward to sleeping in our own beds tonight.

I hope some "youngins" have embarked??? And that you have a fabulous time for the remainder of your tour.

We are now at sea on our way to China.

Japan Earthquake: Queen Mary 2 to sail to Beijing
Queen Mary 2 arrived at Nagasaki this morning and the port authority advised that the port will remain closed whilst they ensure that the facilities are structurally sound. Queen Mary 2 will remain outside the port area until 2pm local time whilst we embark a group of guests who were on an overland tour and immigration officials. Queen Mary 2 will sail to Beijing where the ship will arrive as scheduled. We can confirm that the guests and crew are all safe and accounted for. Our thoughts are with the people of Japan at this difficult time

Just to let you know we can't get internet access because we are in Japanese waters.
We are safe and just outside Nagasaki port.
Queen Mary staying at sea in case of any aftershocks/quakes.

We loved the pictures of Sydney and in particular the Rocks as that was are first stop before our very first cruise 17 years ago around New Zealand. Both very envious and hope that you enjoyed your visit as much as we did. The blogs have been great and full of info which makes excellent reading. You certainly seem to be packing a great deal in. How does the Queen Mary compare to the Queen Elizabeth- will be interested to hear your thoughts when you return.

Super day here today and so I have been gardening and hope to play golf tomorrow - so it's not all bad back in England.
