Double blog today,

Got the tire fixed, 80 pesos. He accidentally shorted me 100 but we got the mistake corrected. No telling what sly tricks I have missed so far.

No boondoggles associated with the camping. No surf this morning either.

Bought some gas off the fishermens coop in Abreojos actually got a pretty good price.

As it turns out, if you check the exchange rate at the pemex stations it can be beneficial to use American dollars. So far it it has been between 11 and 13 pesos per dollar.

Tried to make it to scorpion bay today but failed. Had to stop off in ciu constitucion. Cost me $10 to stay the night but seems secure and has Wi-Fi.
Heading to El Canejo tomorrow, then picking up Gerod on Saturday.

The drive today was very pretty especially on the sea of Cortez side. Very few people in the palapas in mulage and loreto, possibly because it is about 110 deg there.

Plenty of butterflies though. There were literally billions of yellow and white butterflies crossing the road for 200 miles. Not sure if it was wind related, but they always crossed in the same direction. It was a massacre, though I do not believe I impacted their population in a meaningful way.
