Breakfast at Residence Inn breakfast buffet - eggs, oatmeal etc Connor ate a good breakfast too Took van to Lego Land. 98 miles one way, 3 hours there held that long to get back. Today was Universal Studios Day. Took Lyft from hotel. No problem. Got to Universal about 8:45. Decided to upgrade ticket to front of line pass. Pricey but it made for a fantastic experience. Almost no waiting. Saw everything we wanted. Some we ride twice. Connor's favorite was Jurassic Park ride. We got soaked at the end. Uneventful flight Atlanta to LA. Took cab LAX to hotel. 30 min. $55 Had extra time, took Uber from hotel at 901 W Olympic Blvd to La Brea Tar Pits. Uber was great. Showed up in 5 min cost &17 incl tip for 20 min ride. Pleasant driver clean car. Talked real estate prices and taxes. Tar Pits is a do not miss attraction.
