We stayed here for 2 nights and it was such a lovely little town, theres not much here but its lovely. The first night was spent with some drinks and a nice barbeque on the communal ones by the campsite, it was lovely.. There are loads of communal barbeques all around Australia, its nice, if they were in England they would have graffiti all over them and be broken.. little English sh*ts..!!! :P We also did this thing called Scooteroo which was wicked, you hire out these mini choppers and see all of the town of 1770 and you also get to see wild kangaroos, it takes around 3 hours to do the tour and you end up at a nice little pub with some wedges with sweet chilli sauce and sour cream ( by the way you have GOT to have that with wedges - I am hooked on sweet chilli sauce now yum yum) The bike ride was so much fun, me and Jo shared a bike cause I had an eye infection so could only wear one contact lol. However I touched the side of the exhaust and burnt my bleedin leg, I had to go to a doctor at rainbow beach and it cost me about 50 quid to sort it out, how ridiculous. 3rd degree burn can you believe it, nice little scar there now. (See pics: P ) After here we headed off for Hervey Bay and discovered that there was not a lot here, we spent our time in the tv room in the campsite catching up on Home and away and neighbours he he, and we rented out a wicked bike where all 4 of us had to pedal, good fun!
