Just a quick blog to tell you about todays events. It started off as a wonderful, sunny day. the sunniest yet infact, so we got our towels, had some breakfast and headed down to the beach! there we sunbathed for a couple of hours, read a bit of our books ( mine of which got soaked - had to dry it out with the hairdryer :o( ) and just chilled. at about half one we decided to go snorkelling, we did this for about an hour and a half which was brilliant, so sunny ...

We have spent 7 days in Ko Samui already, and are leaving here on the 12th (thursday) to go to Sydney No Jade, we are not in fiji yet, that will be after oz, he he and yes mom we are eating the right foods!!! So far no diseases for us (fingers crossed) The island is beautiful, and extremely hot - its been like 30 degrees at least everyday, and has rained most days but mostly on the evening, which is nice and refreshing, and only for about 20 mins at a time!! ...

ok its my second day in thailand - what a culture shock. yesterday we got to our hotel at about 4.30 and our hotel is lovely, but outside there are loads of little street markets selling tshirts and jewellery and dvds etc, and some beggars, the streets are dirty with a pungant smell and i saw a great big dirty cockroack, put me right off the place lol.
