Today we had a long and bumpy bus ride to El Nido. I have never been on a bus ride like this in my life. We were bouncing around like crazy. I kept hitting my head to the window and handle. I had my foot up on the seat in front of me to keep my bum on the seat. I was wearing lulu pants and my butt kept slipping off the seat. Our driver drove like a maniac too. He hit every pot hole and thought he was in a race or something.
Once we reached El Nido we wanted to forget about the bus rude and headed straight for the beach. To get to the best beach we had to take a tricycle taxi. It is basically a motorcycle with a side buggy. We were able to squish three people in one.
The beach was gorgeous. We were surrounded by gorgeous green mountains in crystal clear water. The sun was out at first but just like every other afternoon here it rained. I have learnt to love the rain though and it doesn't stop us from doing activities.
We were swimming along out deep and we came across a group of jelly fish. It felt there bodies against my legs but luckily I didn't get stung.
We went for dinner in the pouring rain. It is hard to do dinners with a group of 17 people. Dinner was a three hour affair and by the end of it we were all ready for bed.
