i havent seen an urangutan but its the only picture they have of 'cambodia' god this thing is rubbish! so anyway. er, bummed about in phnom penh for a few days - i have only just leanrt how to spell that! did i tell you about the appalling road to get to siem reap? well this time it was tarmac- kinda! which was novel. when we got dropped off at our bus - it didnt have a wheel which was slghtly worrying! but its ok - coz faster than the F1 team there was a new wheel in place! cambodian style! so that was friday - or was it saturday? or even thursday? i cant remember. bt anyway - rained all first day - so i sat in a bar - that was yesterday. and i was really really ill so just kept comfort eating coz it did some ace english grub! then we finally manaed to get up and go across to a market - bought a scarf - that all the locals wear. lovely. then had tapas at some charity restauarnt that trains up street kids. so we were doing our bit for them. woo! er today - i felt lke dyng - but after a cold shower and peanut butter and bana on toast - sorted! er, we then decided it would be a good idea to go to the killing fields and s-21 - which were distressing - but i suppose its ogtta be seen - its from when the khmer rouge were in power in the late 70s and there was a mass genocide. kinda saddening. had sunday roast today - not like home - put it that way. but better thn nothing. i think its made me feel ill. right - off to get vietanm visa tomo and then vietnam on tuesday - for our last 3 weeks of proper travelling before china. byeee! x
