Today is C6. I can't tell you how excited and ready I am to see land. Yesterday we woke up to pass the Azores and yesterday while I was laying out on my new favorite day deck (deck 5, outside the dining hall) and we saw birds. BIRDS! That means were getting so close! In fact today we are supposed to get to Gibraltar, but we are only refueling. Such a tease. We cannot get off the boat. I am just itching to get on some land. It feels like I have been on this ship for months. Also we lose an hour every night while crossing the Atlantic and it is seriously a slow death by hour. Yesterday Erica, Jordan, Lyndsi, Katie and I ate dinner on the pool deck (sorry Mom , I had to buy dinner) and it was lovely. The food on the pool deck is significantly better then the food in the dining halls. Salad, salad, salad. I suppose it will be nice because I am going to eat my weight in food in all the countries that hopefully I won't gain weight because I am eating so healthy on the ship. I have never had so many vegetables in my life. Plans are almost complete for Spain and Italy. Spain the only thing I need to figure out is transportation. In Italy we have a great plan, we just need to get train tickets and find a place to stay the night in Rome. I am getting really excited about all these trips, slightly nervous about all the planning though. It is really hard to do without the internet. It's not facebook, or youtube, or any of those other sites I miss, it's simple ones like google. But that's what the cyber cafés are for.
