Day 18 - Bangkok

We finally arrived in Bangkok about 3pm local time. After spending ages trying to get through immigration we taxi to our hotel. We started heading out for a wander and some lunch and then we both got sick, so went straight back to the room - think we were dehydrated. We fell asleep and woke up soon after feeling much better. So we went and had some dinner and buckets of whiskey on khao san road. It was a great night. On the way home we bought some noodles and spring rolls from a street stall which were really good - the spring rolls cost 20p each. After an hour or so michael went to bed but I couldn't sleep, so came downstairs to the hotels internet cafe and chatted to lots of the family on facebook! At 4am I finally said goodbye to them and went to bed.
