Jens' Travels
This morning, I went to the Vasa Museum, which houses the Vasa ship, a salvaged 17th century warship that sank ~1,300 metres into its maiden voyage. The ship was quite the spectacle and is viewable from all angles on several different floors. There are various exhibits around the museum that display the history of the ship.
After touring the Vasa Museum, I went on a canal tour departing nearby. The canal tour was quite enjoyable as it was a beautiful day and there were some great views of the archipelago. The tour also gave some history of the various landmarks in Stockholm.
After the tour ended, I walked through Gamla Stan and over to Fotografiska, a photography centre. The centre had some random exhibits on the first floor and a special exhibit featuring photos from Africa on the second floor. The African photos were quite well done.
