Jens' Travels
This day, I ventured over to Akershus Fortress, which is just east of the city centre. This is an old fortress you can walk through and offers some great views of Oslo's harbour. Fortunately, the weather was quite nice.
I then made my way to the Nobel Peace Centre nearby. The museum was small, but had some interesting exhibits.
I then took the metro over to Holmenkollen and visited the Holmenkollen Ski Jump. The ski jump is quite an impressive piece of architecture, had some interesting exhibits inside featuring Norway's ski history, and offered some great views of Oslo and the surrounding area from the top platform.
On my way back, I got off the metro a little early so I could walk through Vigeland Park, a large park a little west of the city centre that has a plethora of human statues.
I then went over to Aker Brygge on what was my last evening in Oslo.
